Botox rejuvenation treatment
During the last almost two decades, seldom has a beauty treatment been as popular and in demand as Botox. Its great advantage is its high effectiveness in reducing and preventing wrinkles, without being very invasive, i.e. without the need for surgery. It is a type A botulinum toxin, specifically onabotulinum toxin A, produced by the bacterium Bacterium Clastridium.
A Botox injection, which consists of a small dose of botulinum toxin, is given directly into muscle tissue and causes partial paralysis. It is most commonly used to smooth wrinkles on the forehead, around the eyes, and around the lips. The result is a visibly rejuvenated appearance that can last from 3 to 8 months. Each subsequent treatment usually works a little longer than the previous one.

BOTOX APPLICATION

What do you need to know before the procedure?
If you are considering treatment, keep the following in mind:
Having in mind that it is an aesthetic rejuvenation treatment targeting wrinkles and fine lines on the face, some people think that a few injections will completely remove these unwanted imperfections from their face.
However, for most patients it is more of a preventative than a restorative treatment. The active ingredient “freezes” the facial muscles to prevent their contractions, which then deepen the wrinkles.
Due to the limited knowledge about Botox, many assume that its miraculous effects will last for ever. Unfortunately, this is not true. So, the sooner you start using it, the more preventive its effect will be. As a result, there has recently been a trend towards taking Botox in the late 20s. This popular preventive treatment is called Baby Botox.
The duration of action on wrinkles between the eyebrows and on the forehead is about three to four months. In patients who move a lot and exert themselves or who are very expressive when speaking, the effect of the treatment lasts about three months.
People who have prior experience with traditional beauty treatments and know that Botox is not an invasive treatment would probably find the treatment completely painless. Although experiences vary from patient to patient, multiple injections still cause some pain.
In most cases, the pain is not pronounced and lasts a maximum of 30 minutes after the treatment. If the patient is sensitive to pain, an anaesthetic cream can be applied to make the treatment as comfortable as possible.
It is unlikely you’ll run a marathon right after your treatment, but it’s important to know that certain activities aren’t recommended.
It is recommended that you do not exercise, lie down or sleep for 24 hours after the procedure. Do not take blood thinning medications as these may increase bruising at the injection site. Avoid any pressure on the treated area, do not wear helmets or diving masks and sleep on your back if possible. You should also avoid the sun, solariums and saunas after the procedure.

However, if you start a conversation about this treatment in your wider social circle, you will probably be surprised at how many of your acquaintances have already had this treatment. Nowadays, the number of users of this aesthetic treatment is really not small.
While this treatment certainly does not come cheap, the price is nothing like plastic surgery and is still cheaper than some filler treatments.
Due to the frequent and widespread attitudes in society towards Botox and other aesthetic procedures, some people believe that this treatment represents a deviation from socially desirable principles. If you are a religious person, you may think that the urge for this treatment is vanity, which is categorized as a sin. However, there is nothing wrong or embarrassing about it if you want to look fresh and attractive. It is natural and even desirable that you take care of yourself and your appearance.
It may seem to you that the biggest and most widespread criticism of this treatment is that everyone looks like expressionless robots afterwards. Are you afraid of not being able to move certain parts of your face? In the experience of the vast majority of our patients, however, this was not a problem. Correct and professional application of Botox in the right places and in the right concentration will not lead to a “frozen” appearance of the face.
Botox is generally considered safe when applied by a trained professional, i.e. a doctor licensed to perform such treatments.
